With <strong>US Inflation<\/strong> remaining at the center of market attention, today\u2019s main event is to be the US year on year and month on month CPI rates for July with traders looking closely. According to forecasted data, the year on year CPI rate is expected to drop from 9.1% to 8.7%, as well as the month on month from 1.3% to 0.2%. Should the actual rates meet their respective forecasts, we may see the dollar weakening, with the peak and slowdown of inflationary pressures possibly signalling that the preceding interest rate hikes by the Fed may have had a material impact. Moreover, if we indeed see the forecasted scenarios materialize, we may see some pressure being lifted from the Fed\u2019s shoulders, easing the need to proceed with further aggressive interest rate hikes in their September meeting, thus driving the greenback even lower. We have to note nonetheless that plenty can happen between today and the Fed\u2019s upcoming meeting. Currently FFF assigns a 69.5% probability for the Fed to hike rates by 75-basis points, with the market having already priced in the better-than-expected employment results released last Friday, which underlined the tightness of the US labour market. It should be noted that the Chicago Fed President Evans is scheduled to speak post the CPI data release and his comments could be of value, as the market anticipates eagerly for hints in regards to the Fed\u2019s monetary policy outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"US inflation report comes out today\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VzE7TgwtOpE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">L'or a poursuivi sur sa lanc\u00e9e, atteignant la barre des 1800 dollars, soutenu par l'afflux de valeurs refuges, les craintes de r\u00e9cession mondiale et la mont\u00e9e des tensions g\u00e9opolitiques. Le ton haussier a \u00e9t\u00e9 renforc\u00e9 par les perspectives n\u00e9gatives entourant le dollar en raison de l'incertitude quant \u00e0 la trajectoire future de la Fed. En outre, les chiffres hebdomadaires des stocks de p\u00e9trole brut de l'EIA et de l'EIA Crude Cushing doivent \u00eatre publi\u00e9s plus tard dans la journ\u00e9e et devraient attirer l'attention des traders. Si les chiffres r\u00e9els baissent comme pr\u00e9vu, nous pourrions voir les prix du WTI \u00eatre soutenus car les donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9vues indiquent une diminution des r\u00e9serves de p\u00e9trole brut, ce qui implique une augmentation de la demande de p\u00e9trole ainsi qu'une augmentation de l'activit\u00e9 de production dans l'\u00e9conomie am\u00e9ricaine.  Nous aimerions \u00e9galement souligner les d\u00e9veloppements actuels de l'\u00e9conomie turque. Pendant le week-end, le pr\u00e9sident Erdogan a rencontr\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident russe Poutine \u00e0 Sotchi et, selon les sources d'information, l'accord entre les deux semble permettre \u00e0 la Turquie d'acheter du p\u00e9trole et du gaz naturel russes en payant en roubles, tout en alignant la Turquie sur le syst\u00e8me de paiement Mir de la Russie. La nouvelle pourrait donner un coup de pouce \u00e0 l'\u00e9conomie turque \u00e0 un moment crucial, mais ne semble pas impressionner TRY pour le moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USDIndex <strong>traded sideways<\/strong> yesterday, between 105.10 <strong>support<\/strong> and 106.82 <strong>resistance<\/strong> levels. Given the <strong>upward trendline<\/strong> since the 2<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup> of August, <strong>we remain bullish<\/strong>. Yet, given the <strong>stabilization<\/strong> of the <strong>index\u2019s<\/strong> price action, the <strong>threatening<\/strong> of the prementioned <strong>upward<\/strong> <strong>trendline<\/strong> and the <strong>RSI indicator<\/strong> which remains near the reading of 50, we see a <strong>sideways movement<\/strong> emerging. Should the <strong>bulls reign over<\/strong>, we may see the <strong>break<\/strong> of the 106.82 (R1) line and a move close to the 107.64 (R2) level. Should the <strong>bears take over<\/strong>, we require seeing the <strong>break<\/strong> of the <strong>ascending trendline<\/strong>, the break of the 105.10 (S1) and a move near the 104.46 (S2) level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Le XAUUSD a test\u00e9 le niveau de $1800 hier, mais s'est rapidement repli\u00e9.
