Google charged by the EU for its Advertising dominance.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Google<\/strong> (#GOOG) Today has been charged by the EU<\/strong> Competition<\/strong> \u4f63\u91d1<\/strong> for allegedly<\/strong> abusing<\/strong> its advertising<\/strong> dominance<\/strong>. The EU Competition Commission claims that Alphabet<\/strong> the parent<\/strong> company of Google<\/strong>, has favored<\/strong> its own advertisement<\/strong> programs<\/strong> over their rivals<\/strong>. his allegedly<\/strong> has provided Google<\/strong> with the ability<\/strong> to charge \u9ad8<\/strong> fees<\/strong> for their services, which has provided google<\/strong> with a \u201cdominant position\u201d by favoring<\/strong> its own AdX<\/strong> ad exchange<\/strong>. According to the commission, Google<\/strong> has allegedly abused<\/strong> this position<\/strong> by \u201cFavouring its own ad exchange AdX in the ad selection auction run by its dominant publisher ad server DFP by, for example, informing<\/strong> AdX in advance<\/strong> of the value<\/strong> of the best<\/strong> bid<\/strong> from competitors<\/strong> which it had to beat<\/strong> to win<\/strong> the auction<\/strong>\u201d.  In the event, that the conducts by Google<\/strong> are found to be true, then they could infringe on Article<\/strong> 102<\/strong> \u201cof the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (\u2018TFEU’) that prohibits the abuse of a dominant market position.\u201d In conclusion<\/strong>, should Google<\/strong> be found in violation<\/strong> of Article 102, it may lead to a \u201cdivestment<\/strong>\u201d of Google\u2019s<\/strong> services<\/strong> in order to address<\/strong> competition<\/strong> concerns<\/strong>, potentially weakening<\/strong> the stock\u2019s<\/strong> price<\/strong> as it may lose a lucrative<\/strong> ad<\/strong> division<\/strong> in Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intel linked to British Chip Designer Arm.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Intel<\/strong> (#INTC<\/strong>) has been linked as a potential anchor<\/strong> investor<\/strong> in Arm<\/strong> before their widely<\/strong> anticipated<\/strong> IPO<\/strong> this year. Should Intel<\/strong> be formally<\/strong> revealed<\/strong> as an anchor investor, it may signal<\/strong> a shift<\/strong> from Intel\u2019s<\/strong> decade<\/strong> long policy<\/strong> of only developing<\/strong> its own in-house microchips<\/strong>, by allowing Arm<\/strong> access<\/strong> to its factories<\/strong>. In theory, by opening up their doors, Intel<\/strong> could potentially<\/strong> be in a better position<\/strong> to compete<\/strong> with chip<\/strong> behemoth<\/strong> TSMC<\/strong> and as such could provide<\/strong> long<\/strong> term support<\/strong> for the stock<\/strong> in the future in terms of increased<\/strong> revenue<\/strong> through higher<\/strong> sales<\/strong>, by expanding<\/strong> Intel\u2019s<\/strong> capabilities<\/strong> \u548c reach<\/strong> in the global<\/strong> chip markets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Motors joins Ford in using Tesla\u2019s superchargers.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u6700\u5f8c Thursday<\/strong>, \u4e00\u822c\u7684<\/strong> Motors<\/strong> (#GM)<\/strong> joined Ford<\/strong> (#F)<\/strong> in announcing that they would be using Tesla\u2019s<\/strong> EV charging<\/strong> network<\/strong> for their electric vehicles<\/strong>. According to CNBC the deal would provide access to 12,000 fast chargers <\/strong>for GM vehicles, thus greatly bolstering<\/strong> Tesla\u2019s<\/strong> lead as the EV\u2019s industry\u2019s<\/strong> leader<\/strong>. The deal according to CNBC would also benefit GM<\/strong> by saving<\/strong> up to $400 million<\/strong> that would have been incurred<\/strong> should they have continued<\/strong> their investment<\/strong> to build their own<\/strong> EV charging ports<\/strong>. Overall, this appears to have aided to Tesla\u2019s rise as demand<\/strong> for their services<\/strong> continues to increase<\/strong> with more automotive<\/strong> manufacturers<\/strong> adapting<\/strong> to their technology<\/strong>, may have solidified<\/strong> Tesla as the dominant<\/strong> marker<\/strong> leader<\/strong> for the EV market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the time being, we maintain a bullish<\/strong> bias<\/strong> for the stock<\/strong> and supporting our case is the RSI<\/strong> indicator below our Daily Chart which currently registers<\/strong> a reading<\/strong> near the figure<\/strong> of 70, implying a strong bullish<\/strong> market sentiment<\/strong>. For our bullish<\/strong> outlook to continue, we would like to see a clear<\/strong> break<\/strong> above<\/strong> the 34.90 (R1) resistance<\/strong> level, with the next possible target<\/strong> for the bulls<\/strong> being the 37.65 (R2) resistance<\/strong> ceiling<\/strong>. On the other hand, for a bearish<\/strong> outlook<\/strong>, we would like to see a clear break<\/strong> below<\/strong> the 31.80 (S1) support<\/strong> level<\/strong>, with the next potential target<\/strong> for the bears<\/strong> being the 29.00 (S2) support<\/strong> base<\/strong>. Furthermore, we note that the widening<\/strong> of the Bollinger<\/strong> bands, implying  high market volatility and the stock which is near the upper<\/strong> band<\/strong> of the Bollinger<\/strong> bands, may be due<\/strong> for a market correction<\/strong> lower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
